Digital Media Management (DMM), a Keywords Studios company, is a full-service social media agency that specializes in 360 campaigns for the entertainment, games, and consumer brands industries. DMM creates groundbreaking social-first marketing campaigns rooted in innovative strategy, and provides clients with community management, creative, video production, influencer, talent, and performance marketing capabilities.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Video Editor, Temporary to join our Creative team. The Assistant Video Editor will manage creative files and assist in the creation of low-lift social media assets. The Assistant Video Editor will be responsible for the creation of clips that require light editing, memes that are pre-templated, and reformatting for social sizes as necessary. The Assistant Video Editor will work closely with Art Directors, Project Managers, Video Editors, Motion Designers, and Graphic Designers to assist in the creative process. The Assistant Video Editor will own the asset management process from the initial asset intake to the final client delivery.

Your Impact

  • Ingesting, formatting and syncing of incoming raw footage. Managing media of all footage and files
  • Simple editing (stitching clips, subtitles) of social content in various sizes for various social platforms (Instagram/Stories, Facebook, YouTube, etc)
  • Quickly assemble edits and complement notes from creatives and clients
  • Assist editors with project organization and asset management. 
  • Create and distribute clips, GIFs and looped videos intended for use on social
  • Create thumbnails as necessary
  • Cut clips from long-form footage provided by client
  • Sync audio files provided by the client. 
  • Insert subtitles into cut clips for social assets. 

Your Experience

  • 1+ years of experience with editing and creating video assets, either independently or in previous employment
  • Proficiency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder and After Effects as well as Final Cut and other 3rd party software, when applicable
  • Experience in both Output and Delivery processes - Preparing elements for delivery to either client or team editors
  • Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of editing workflows.

Your Availability

  • Monday - Friday: 9am-6pm PST
