The convergence of laboratory automation, high-throughput assays, and machine learning is moving the medium of biological discovery to silicon. At LatchBio, we are building the ubiquitous cloud platform to store, visualize and analyze data from biological experiments.
We are 22 engineers and salespeople in San Francisco solving the data bottleneck in biology:
- Data in biotech has increased 10,000x over the past 10 years
- AI in biopharma will 20x in 7 years. $200m to $4b, 54% CAGR.
- We build ubiquitous software, storage, pipelines, & machine learning for all of biology.
- We work six days a week (Mon-Sat)
- We work in person in Mission Bay, SF
Who Are You?
The AAE position is a specialized and impactful role — your mission is to create predictable lead generation, a cornerstone to an effective sales machine. You will be an expert in predictable lead generation: finding market opportunities, executing outreach campaigns, and systematically booking meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Refine ICP alongside product and sales team.
- Orchestrate ABM campaigns personalized to ICPs.
- Write and refine messaging frequently based on outreach data.
- Navigate and work responses from leads to warm them up for qualification meetings.
- Book demos and conduct hot-handoffs to our AEs to close opportunities.
- Travel frequently to life sciences conferences around the world.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 1 year experience as a BDR or AE at an early-stage cloud or software company
- Background in biology — either in school or professionally
- Evidence of exceptional performance at your prior jobs
- Ability to understand & communicate technical concepts plainly
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and best practices
- Desire to excel at sales
