Job Description

The Opportunity

As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our presence with companies who are undertaking their first learning academy. You’ll be responsible for driving net-new business, owning the full sales cycle—from fielding inbound inquiries to strategic prospecting to closing packaged deals.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is passionate about building new business where playbooks are evolving, not pre-defined.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Own and execute a territory plan focused on Thought Industries’ “Starter SKU” package designed for companies who are standing up their first customer education academy
✅ Drive pipeline growth through fielding inbound inquiries and strategic outbound prospecting and campaigns.
✅ Lead value-based discovery and articulate business outcomes aligned to C-level priorities for establishing a customer education academy and the benefits of selecting a partner who can scale with their business.
✅ Navigate multiple opportunities while building trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders
✅ Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Product to refine messaging and identify whitespace as we introduce this package to the market
✅ Forecast with precision and operate with accountability to monthly and quarterly targets
✅ Serve as the face of our brand to this emerging client segment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Proven success in hunting and closing net new business (typically $20-30k+ ACV deals)
✔️ Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions
✔️ Demonstrated ability to prospect, and build pipeline
✔️ Polished presence with the ability to engage confidently with VP and C-suite stakeholders at emerging accounts
✔️ Highly motivated, resourceful, and comfortable operating without rigid structure
✔️ Strong business acumen—able to tie solutions to measurable business outcomes
✔️ Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building, iterating, and winning

 ✔️ Adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct, honors commitments, and treats people with kindness, compassion, trust and respect

 ✔️Highly desired: Experience in the learning management software sales domain in the following areas: Software, Professional Training, Associations, Manufacturing, and Business Services.

What You Bring to the Table

✔️ One to three years of successful SaaS sales experience, prior experience in the LMS or Customer Learning space is a plus

 ✔️ Familiarity with a modern Go-to-Market sales technology stack including Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Gong.
✔️ Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and move it through a bespoke process
✔️ Strong and repeatable sales process, prior experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC a plus
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Highly collaborative and able to partner effectively with the internal ecosystem across marketing, product, finance, legal, account management and delivery team

✔️Strong G-suite skills

✔️Comfortable in a startup environment: we move quickly and wear many hats in a dynamic environment

Additional Information

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. 

The annual base salary for this role is $75,000 with commission earnings up to $75,000.
