Your role at Clorox:

The Associate Analytics Manager accelerates business growth by translating data, analytical methods, and business knowledge into clear, actionable guidance for Business Unit (BU) partners. This role identifies and frames the right business questions, applies core Analytics & Data Science (A&DS) approaches to solve them, and brings forward insights that influence decisions across planning, investment, and performance management.
This role works closely with cross‑functional partners and the broader A&DS organization to build, scale, and embed advanced analytical capabilities. They strengthen functional excellence by developing best practices, improving processes, and ensuring that analytics consistently drives meaningful business impact. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, succinct communication, and the ability to shape decisions by bringing forward clear, evidence‑based points of view.

In this role, you will:

Business Impact & Analytical Leadership

  • Develop recommendations and implications to guide Business Unit (BU) plans and drive business results.
  • Promote the adoption of Analytics & Data Science (A&DS) methods that enable faster, smarter decision‑making.
  • Ensure full utilization of consumer, competitive, and category analytics to guide cross‑functional strategies with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and PSO.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques including:
    • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
    • Test & control analysis (ANCOVA)
    • Multi‑Touch Attribution (MTA)
    • Predictive modeling and forecasting
    • Price and promotion simulation
    • Spend optimization
    • Market structure interpretation
  • Engage in core business planning processes like Integrated Business Planning and Multi‑Year Planning.
  • Collaborate with A&DS teams to scale analytical capabilities and embed insights into key decision frameworks.
  • Develop repeatable analytical approaches and automated workflows that improve speed, consistency, and decision quality across BUs.

Technical Expertise & Data Fluency

  • Leverage visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to enable insight discovery and storytelling.
  • Use SQL and Python to access, manage, and analyze data efficiently.
  • Build automated data pipelines, scripts, or workflows to streamline recurring analytics tasks.
  • Develop reusable code assets, templates, or tools that reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of ETL pipelines, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and emerging genAI tools.
  • Apply best practices in code organization, documentation, and reproducibility.
  • Interpret complex datasets and synthesize findings into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Contribute to capability‑building across A&DS through process improvements and knowledge sharing.

Communications, Influence, and Collaboration

  • Communicate complex analytical findings in clear, compelling ways to business and technical audiences.
  • Influence cross‑functional teams through storytelling, data translation, and strategic framing.
  • Translate automated or code‑based analytical outputs into clear, business‑ready insights.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and serve as a thought‑leader in the integration of analytics across functions.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Marketing and BU leadership, aligning analytics with key priorities and opportunities.

What we look for:

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of business experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 1–3+ years with an advanced degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s or MBA strongly preferred)
  • Background in digital or media analytics, either client‑ or agency‑side, preferred

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office 365 suite
  • Strong data visualization and dashboard‑building capabilities using modern BI tools
  • Experience coding in SQL and Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis
  • Ability to design efficient, well‑structured code that supports scalable analytics work
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and contemporary analytics tooling
  • Experience creating reusable code components or templates that improve consistency across analyses
  • Comfort applying best practices in documentation, reproducibility, and version control

We are committed to fair and equitable pay and are transparent with current and future teammates about our full salary ranges. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900

–Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900

–Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
