Proof of work

The team

At Kraken, our Product Growth team is the driving force behind how the world discovers, learns about, and engages with our products and brand. We combine creativity, data, and technology to accelerate global awareness, acquisition, and retention — all in service of Kraken’s mission to bring crypto to the world.

We operate like a high-performing startup within Kraken — testing, learning, and scaling what works as we communicate the value of our core products. From driving discoverability in the next generation of search and AI to optimizing in-app visibility and cross-promoting features, we’re obsessed with finding innovative ways to grow Kraken’s brand, expand our user base, and increase user value.

As part of this mission, you’ll help shape how clients experience Kraken across touchpoints — crafting content that educates, inspires, and drives engagement at every stage of the marketing funnel.

The opportunity
  • Serve as an on-camera voice and face of Kraken’s products across short-form social, performance marketing creatives, and educational content.

  • Produce high-quality, performance-driven content across multiple formats — including short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok), paid ads, social snippets, landing pages, and long-form educational assets.

  • Independently ideate, script, film, and publish content with minimal oversight, operating with speed and strong creative judgment.

  • Translate Kraken’s product value propositions into compelling messaging tailored to different stages of the marketing funnel — from awareness to conversion to retention.

  • Leverage AI tools and modern production workflows to accelerate content output, experimentation, and iteration.

  • Continuously test, optimize, and refine creative output based on performance data and audience insights.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Data, Design, Compliance, and SMEs — while maintaining ownership over execution and results.

  • Act as a proactive driver of experiments and new content initiatives, identifying opportunities rather than waiting for direction.

Skills you should HODL
  • Deep understanding of crypto markets and a strong passion for educating and engaging audiences about digital assets.

  • 2+ years of experience creating high-volume, multi-format content — including short-form video, performance ads, social snippets, and long-form educational assets — ideally within finance or technology.

  • Proven comfort and enthusiasm for being on camera as a core part of the role; ability to confidently represent a brand publicly and consistently.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute quickly and independently, balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Strong technical proficiency in modern content creation workflows, including AI-assisted video creation, editing, scripting, automation, and lightweight animation tools.

  • Experience owning the full production cycle — from ideation and scripting to filming, editing, publishing, and optimization.

  • Versatility across formats and funnel stages, with the ability to adapt tone and structure for short-form, paid, organic, and educational content.

  • Analytical mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, iteration, and measurable performance impact.

  • High level of ownership, proactivity, and accountability — you drive ideas forward without needing heavy direction and follow through on commitments.

  • Strong reliability and commitment to role expectations, with the ability to maintain trust across stakeholders.

  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex financial or technical concepts into engaging, clear, and persuasive narratives.

  • Native-level English proficiency.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice-to-haves
  • Familiarity with global financial markets, emerging technologies, and the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Experience developing content for AI-driven or emerging search channels (e.g., Google AEO, Perplexity, ChatGPT Browse, Gemini).

  • Exposure to product-led growth environments or performance marketing functions.

  • Passion for the future of finance, technology, and digital assets.

Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.

Kraken is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate all Krakenites for their diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions and unique perspectives. We hire strictly based on merit, meaning we seek out the candidates with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills considered the most suitable for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgable about crypto!

We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments are designed to evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Assessment results are considered alongside other relevant information, such as experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
