Job Description

Redica Systems is looking for an Associate Data Analyst to develop customer-facing reports and dashboards using our regulatory intelligence data.

You'll translate customer requests into clear reporting requirements, work with data covering inspections, observations, warning letters, and enforcement actions, and present findings through dashboards, executive reports, and compelling data storytelling.

We're looking for someone who's analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable using AI to improve how they work. Just as important is a practical, down-to-earth approach and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Core Responsibilities

  • Translate customer reporting requests into precise, scoped queries using Redica tools, including Sigma, Claude, and Redica MCP, to identify and extract the right underlying data.
  • Build, customize, and publish customer-facing reports, including workbooks, data elements, and visualizations tailored to each customer’s needs.
  • Own the full report lifecycle, from intake and data identification through build, QA, proofing, and delivery.
  • Interpret and validate data outputs for accuracy before any customer-facing delivery. This is not a “pull and send” role; judgment about data quality and relevance is required.
  • Navigate regulatory intelligence data, including FDA enforcement actions, Form 483 observations, warning letters, and inspection records, to answer customer-specific questions through structured reporting.
  • Manage multiple concurrent customer deliverables with accuracy and on-time delivery.

About You

  • Business Insight: You understand customer reporting needs and how accurate regulatory intelligence data helps customers answer business-critical questions. You can connect data outputs to the customer’s underlying need, not just the literal request.
  • Manages Complexity: You break down ambiguous reporting requests into clear steps, including data identification, query logic, report building, QA, and delivery. You can work through complex regulatory datasets without losing accuracy or structure.
  • Decision Quality: You use data, context, and sound judgment to validate outputs, identify anomalies, and confirm that the final result answers the question being asked. You know when to escalate unclear, incomplete, or questionable results.
  • Collaboration & Influence: You work effectively with internal teams to clarify requests, resolve data questions, and deliver accurate customer-ready work. You communicate clearly and help keep deliverables moving without unnecessary back-and-forth.
  • Tech Savvy: You are comfortable working with BI tools, structured data, SQL, AI-assisted tools, and analytics workflows. You learn new systems quickly and use technology to improve accuracy, speed, and quality of work.
  • Engaged: You share our values and possess the essential competencies needed to thrive at Redica, as outlined here: https://redica.com/company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data operations, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience building reports, workbooks, data elements, or visualizations in a cloud BI or analytics tool, such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI; Sigma experience is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write, review, and troubleshoot queries against structured data.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools or natural language data interfaces to support data exploration, query development, or analysis.
  • Experience producing accurate, polished work product for internal stakeholders or external customers.
