Associate HR Generalist

Reports to: VP, Human Resources - Americas

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Location: US - Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred)

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Associate HR Generalist to join our HR team. This role is designed for a professional with 1 to 3 years of experience who is ready to move beyond administrative tasks and gain exposure to the full breadth of the HR function within a fast-paced digital marketing environment.

Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources - Americas, you will be involved in all aspects of the HR lifecycle, from talent attraction through retirement. While your day-to-day focus is on the Americas region (primarily US and Canada), you will gain a broader perspective through exposure to global HR operations and team members. This is a practical stepping stone for someone who wants to develop into a well-rounded HR professional by learning from experienced leadership.

Areas Where You Will Be Involved
  • The Employee Lifecycle: Support the HR function through various stages of the employee experience, including performance management cycles, career development initiatives, benefits education and employee inquiries.
  • HR Data & Analytics: Maintain the integrity of our HRIS and assist in developing reports. You will help track and analyze metrics like turnover, tenure, and engagement to support data-driven decisions.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Assist with the rollout and management of culture and engagement initiatives, internal communications, and employee feedback surveys to improve the overall workplace experience.
  • HR Projects: Work alongside the VP on varied project work, such as policy development, compensation benchmarking, compliance audits and process improvement.
  • Recruiting Support: Provide support for recruitment activities, including posting roles and coordinating candidate schedules as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional HR experience. You should be familiar with standard HR practices and basic employment law concepts.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HRIS platforms and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides or MS Office programs. You should be comfortable organizing and presenting data. An AI-first mindset is a plus!
  • Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle highly confidential information with professional maturity.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Why This Role?

This position offers exposure to nearly every aspect of HR rather than being limited to one specific area. You will have the opportunity to see how HR strategy is developed and implemented at the executive level, gaining foundational and hands-on experience necessary to advance your career in HR.
