Skydance Media’s Information Technology team seeks an Associate IT Project Manager to assist the Executive Vice President of Information Technology. This individual will be responsible for managing the ongoing projects of the IT department and provide integral coordination with the Operations Department. Responsibilities include Executive schedule management, project management, reporting status and milestones to stakeholders, meticulous organizational and communication skills, and an understanding of IT terminology and concepts. Curates and manages SharePoint sites, intranet, and user documentation.
Responsibilities
- Track, manage, and report on overall project status, maintain overall project plan, address issues with quality assurance and task completions; understand technology design in office spaces
- Ensure client requirements are met and closeout activities are completed; manage stakeholder requirements
- Oversee and manage department financials including tracking purchases, expenses, and deliver monthly reports
- Manage 3rd party project delivery resources/team, provide project guidance and direction to achieve project goals; responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members
- Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed
- Facilitate project meetings; implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements
- Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
- Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines
- Report status and variances
- Create action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule; implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders
- Assess change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk with management support
- Implement standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience supporting and driving IT projects within an office environment; prior Project Management experience preferred
- General understanding of SaaS landscape and software development lifecycle
- Experience with Asana preferred
- Experience presenting to a variety of stakeholder levels; strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking ability and self-driven organizational skills
- Focus on providing high degree of customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) and/or equivalent related experience, a plus
The compensation range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $65,000-80,000 annually. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
