Our Performance Analytics associate managers are strategic leaders and data-driven problem solvers who combine technical expertise with business insight to deliver impactful solutions. They oversee complex projects, manage client relationships, and guide internal teams to ensure successful delivery. Managers work with large and complex datasets, leveraging big data frameworks and advanced analytics tools to build robust data models. Increasingly, they lead initiatives involving Generative AI, predictive modeling, and machine learning-helping clients unlock actionable insights and drive measurable value.
Role and responsibilities
Client Impact• Lead data-driven initiatives across Business Intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and Generative AI, ensuring solutions deliver measurable client value.• Design and oversee methodologies tailored to client problem statements, applying strategic thinking to account for internal and external constraints.• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, influencing decision-making and aligning recommendations with business priorities.• Manage client expectations, risks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's strategic objectives.
Team collaboration & culture• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, planning, execution, and quality assurance.• Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting career development.• Ensure proper governance of project resources and repositories, maintaining version control, documentation, and accessibility.• Drive internal workstreams and cross-functional collaboration to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.• Contribute to Mastercard's intellectual capital and innovation agenda, with a focus on advancing AI-driven and Generative AI solutions.
Basic qualifications• Graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with strong data and analytics expertise.• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data-driven roles, including project and stakeholder management.• Proven experience with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, as we • Strong technical foundation (SQL and Python required) and ability to lead complex analytical projects.• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Excellent communication skills in English and local office language; additional European languages highly valuable.• Eligibility to work in the country of application and ability to travel as required.
