The Boeing Company is seeking to hire an Associate Manufacturing Planner (Spares, Retrofit, Mods) to join our Production Supply Chain Team at our Seattle, WA facility.
Job Responsibilities
  • Making mass changes to part data records
  • Validating requests to make changes to records in the SAP system
  • Support design requirements for teams leaving legacy parts system and entering SAP
  • Investigate interaction problems between different systems and SAP
  • Elevate system errors and fixes needed to IT
  • Review internal SAP system queues
  • Evaluate impact and notify users of system downtime
  • Test new changes to the SAP system, catalog testing results and communicate findings
  • Find and fix gaps in data on a systematic level
  • Communicate process gaps with ME community
  • Test and manage administration of restricted users
  • Communicate escapements and incidents of non-compliance

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Experience: 2+ years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of programming language(s): Microsoft Excel VBA or similar
  • Previous knowledge/experience, or ambition to learn, internal system interfaces and how to manipulate system code for the benefit of Boeing systems, processes, and users
  • Experience with supply chain
  • Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, SAP

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Salary Range - $63,189 - $77,232
