The salary range for this position is $81,900 - $102,400 per year. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Product Manager to play a central role on our Digital team, driving the creation of exceptional digital experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and a proven track record of managing diverse initiatives within the e-commerce and digital innovation landscape. This individual will collaborate closely with product team members, external development partners, vendors, and agencies, as well as internal creative, brand, and marketing teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The Product Manager will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to optimize the customer journey, driving increased engagement, conversion, brand loyalty, and revenue growth.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall digital strategy for Kendo's e-commerce sites.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to support the digital customer strategy across all Kendo brands.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, conduct in-depth customer journey analysis, and define detailed product requirements to support the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product and Project Managers to translate approved roadmap initiatives into well-defined requirements and actionable sprints, including detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to conduct thorough market analysis, research competitive products, and gather customer feedback to inform business case development and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to advocate for the customer, define optimal user experiences, and lead the design process.
  • Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, ensuring user feedback is effectively incorporated into final development.
  • Support the development and execution of product release plans, setting clear expectations for the delivery of new functionalities and platform integrations.
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of go-to-market plans to ensure successful product launches.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to inform future investment decisions.
  • Promote and contribute to the evolution of our Agile/Scrum best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of e-commerce data and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of end-to-end site flows and architecture, including associated third-party tools, and participate in troubleshooting and UAT activities.
  • Leverage data from Google Analytics 4 and Power BI to continuously improve the online shopping experience.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a project development role related to e-commerce.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive and self-starting approach.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a focus on the customer experience.
  • Proficiency with Shopify+ and the Shopify Partner ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Power BI, and CDP.
  • Experience with TikTok Shop is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Balance of technical understanding and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, influence, inspire, and drive collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering e-commerce solutions.
  • Passion for the beauty industry is a plus.
