The Associate Product Marketing Manager plays a key supporting role in helping ExploreLearning|Learning A-Z bring impactful educational products to market. Working closely with Product Marketing Managers, this position contributes to the development and execution of go-to-market, product positioning, competitive analysis, market research, sales enablement, and campaign support. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced marketing organization. The Associate Product Marketing Manager will collaborate across teams to ensure that product messaging is clear, competitive, and aligned with customer needs, and will support the development of go-to-market efforts in partnership with Product Strategy and Growth and Demand Generation teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Support the development and refinement of product positioning and messaging frameworks in collaboration with product marketers.

  • Assist in maintaining and updating product messaging documentation to ensure consistency across channels and teams.

  • Help ensure product positioning is accurately reflected in sales tools, marketing assets, and customer-facing communications.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing research into competitor offerings, market trends, and customer needs within the U.S. K-12 education space.

  • Summarize findings into actionable insights to inform positioning, sales enablement, and campaign development.

  • Maintain competitive intelligence resources and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing efforts.

Sales Enablement

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales enablement materials, including product one-pagers, battlecards, FAQs, and training decks.

  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather feedback and identify gaps in enablement resources.

  • Support internal product training efforts by helping prepare materials and coordinating sessions.

Go-to-Market Support

  • Assist in developing ongoing customer communications, including product announcements and feature updates via Pendo and email.

  • Support the sales team with clear and consistent communication that keeps them informed about product updates and equips them with the latest sales enablement tools.

  • Collaborate with UX, Product Management, and Product Marketing to determine high-impact monthly communications strategies that aid the user experience.

  • Support product marketing managers in developing and maintaining customer communication plans.

Campaign Development Support

  • Partner with Growth and Demand to support campaign planning and execution.

  • Contribute to campaign briefs, messaging inputs, and audience targeting strategies.

  • Help ensure product marketing goals are reflected in campaign assets and performance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build connected working relationships across the marketing teams.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and planning sessions to stay aligned on priorities and timelines.

  • Support the development of go-to-market plans for new product features and enhancements.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, business, communications, or related experience.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in marketing or product marketing. K-12 education technology experience highly preferred.

  • Deeply committed to K-12 education and highly knowledgeable about the roles and personas that shape the market.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information clearly.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and write effective marketing content that supports product positioning and resonates with target audiences across the customer lifecycle (from awareness and consideration through purchase, onboarding, and retention).

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a clear sense of priorities.

  • Clear understanding of how to leverage a variety of marketing channels (i.e. email, web) to help engage and enable target audiences.

  • Ability to leverage tools (CRM, Pendo, data analytics, AI, etc.) to support product marketing activities such as market analysis, content development, and go-to-market planning.
