Seven Bridges Associate Program Manager

Location: US Remote

Who are we?

Seven Bridges democratizes access to high-value biomedical data and delivers end-to-end solutions through expansive datasets, cloud-optimized workflows, secure infrastructure, and the scientific expertise of our bioinformatics team. As a key component of the national research infrastructure for NIH institutes and industry-leading commercial partners, we provide the scale, reliability, and scientific support needed to drive discovery, enable collaboration across disciplines, and speed the path from data to diagnostics and therapies. As a Velsera company, we unify technology-enabled solutions and scientific expertise to enable a continuous flow of knowledge across the global healthcare ecosystem.

As an Associate Program Manager, you will report to the Director of Programs and support one or more programs within Velsera’s portfolio, spanning engagements with non-profit, advocacy, and government entities. You will work closely with senior Program Managers, clients, and internal teams to help ensure programs run smoothly, priorities are clear, and commitments are met. Recent examples of programs include implementations of the Seven Bridges Platform for the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Research Data Commons (Cancer Genomics Cloud) and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s BioData Catalyst—both of which serve as premier NIH analysis environments.

Associate Program Managers at Seven Bridges are organized, curious, and strong communicators who enjoy working on complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders. They help maintain structure across programs, track progress against milestones, and adapt as priorities evolve. Over time, you will develop a strong understanding of our platforms, programs, and scientific communities, and contribute to building trusted, long-term client relationships.

What will you do?

  • Support definition and tracking of priorities within assigned program(s) in collaboration with Program Managers, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Help drive progress by tracking action items, identifying risks or blockers, and supporting clear communication across cross-functional teams
  • Assist with proposal development, including coordinating inputs, timelines, and budget components
  • Support communication with internal and external stakeholders, including meeting coordination, status updates, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Help ensure fulfillment of program obligations by coordinating with teams across Velsera
  • Learn and document user needs and workflows, and help clients and users get the most value from Seven Bridges products and features

Requirements

What do you bring to the table?

  • MS or PhD in science or engineering or equivalent experience in a software or technology-driven environment
  • Familiarity with genomics, epidemiology, clinical trials, or biomedical data analysis (coursework or professional experience)
  • Early-career experience in project or program coordination, research operations, consulting, or a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
  • Comfort working collaboratively across teams and learning to balance multiple priorities
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a willingness to ask questions and learn
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and sometimes ambiguous environment
