This role will orchestrate the planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases across product, engineering, QA, and support teams, ensuring every deployment is predictable, high-quality, clearly communicated, and aligned with our internal controls. This role will serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and stakeholders, driving the processes and automation that make frequent, reliable releases possible.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate release schedules, ensuring timely deployments and adherence to product release timelines and commitments. 
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and support teams, as well as internal stakeholders, to ensure all release requirements are met, and internal controls are accounted for. 
  • Coordinate testing, staging, and production environments to facilitate successful releases. 
  • Audit, collaborate on, and oversee the generation and delivery of release notes and change logs. 
  • Communicate release updates to both internal stakeholders and external clients. 
  • Establish best practices and processes for release management in a SaaS context, including automation and rollback strategies. 
  • Oversee post-release activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and engagement with incident management. 
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and innovation in release operations. 
  • Other task as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or external equivalent.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in software release management, preferably within a SaaS environment; we are open to a range of experience levels, from emerging release professionals to seasoned release leaders. 
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and version control systems. 
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical changes into clear, client-facing release communications. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment. 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps preferred
  • Working knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and work-management tools such as Jira or Azure Boards preferred
  • Exposure to ITIL or other release/change management frameworks; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CSM) are a plus. 
  • Experience managing customer-facing release communications, status pages, or client notification programs preferred
  • Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for streamlining release workflows preferred

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$90,000.00 - $130,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
