WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are seeking an AV Project Manager to support our client, supporting delivery of their audio-visual (AV) project portfolio. The role focuses on process ownership, portfolio visibility, financial tracking, and vendor governance to ensure projects are delivered consistently and to standard. Engineers remain accountable for technical delivery; this role provides the structure, reporting, and coordination that enables predictable execution across regions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and maintain the AV project intake process, ensuring complete and accurate inputs before work begins.
  • Support the definition and governance of the AV project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and evolve templates, tools, and tracking systems to support consistent execution across regions.
  • Monitor project health across schedule, milestones, risks, and dependencies using consistent RAG criteria.
  • Maintain a portfolio-level view of all projects, including stage, region, timelines, and capacity constraints.
  • Provide clear, concise reporting on project and portfolio status, highlighting risks, required decisions, and trends.
  • Track financial performance across major projects, including budgets, actuals, burn rate, and forecast alignment.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor spend vs. budget and identify emerging financial risks or patterns.
  • Partner with Finance on quarterly and forward-looking forecasts, including project and portfolio-level spend.
  • Define vendor engagement standards, including deliverables, documentation, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor vendor and integrator performance across schedule, cost, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards and support onboarding, evaluation, and pricing alignment with Procurement.
  • Coordinate procurement timelines, ensuring BOM readiness and alignment with project schedules.
  • Track equipment lead times, availability risks, and support proactive mitigation planning.
  • Maintain visibility into critical spares inventory and support threshold and replenishment planning.
  • Drive structured project closeouts, capturing lessons learned and feeding improvements into processes and standards.
  • Identify recurring delivery issues and partner with stakeholders to address root causes.
  • Provide targeted hands-on project management for high-risk, high-value, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Stabilize projects in distress by driving coordination, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineers, Workplace/IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, AV Integrators, and OEMs to ensure aligned execution.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:


  • 5–8+ years of project management experience.
  • Strong planning, risk management, and execution skills.
  • Ability to track budgets and interpret financial data.
  • Experience working with vendors/integrators.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience in AV or workplace technology projects.
  • Experience in global or multi-region environments.
  • Familiarity with AV ecosystems and standards.
  • Experience building dashboards or KPIs.

Pay Range
$145,000$155,000 USD
