Job Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expert with Health Information Systems, specific focus on Epic Systems. Possess in-depth knowledge of technical interfaces for Health Information Systems.

  • Epic Systems Knowledge: Experience utilizing and leading projects focused on operational optimization and process streamlining within Epic systems.

  • Process Assessment: Ability to evaluate and analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

  • Strategic Planning: Proven experience in developing roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and customer needs.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, along with familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

  • Autonomy: Capacity to work independently, exercising sound judgment with minimal supervision.

  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to contribute to project management and delivery, with a willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members.

  • Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of strategic business planning and execution within healthcare technology or related industries.

  • Problem-Solving: Robust decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement in patient contact center operations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and execution of strategic projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Executive Presence: Demonstrate executive presence by effectively communicating with senior leadership, presenting strategic initiatives, and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

  • Technology Initiatives: Oversee the implementation of technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and drive innovation. Solutions such as Real Time Eligibility, Real Time Authorization and eMPA, Contact Center platforms, and the Ensemble EIQ platform are in scope for the role in addition to Health Information System modules like Hello World, Cheers and MyChart.

  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and organizational performance.

  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with strategic projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

  • Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and measure success.

  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

  • Vendor Management and Contracting: Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracting processes to ensure successful partnerships and project outcomes. This includes extensive experience in vendor management, contracting, and leading Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for the front office, with examples of successful partnerships such as strategic alliances that enhanced operational efficiency and innovation.

This position pays $122,900- $184,350 based on relevant experience
