The Opportunity:

We are seeking multiple Azure Infrastructure Administrators, ranging from mid-level to expert, to support the administration, automation, and operation of enterprise Microsoft Azure environments. Candidates should have hands-on Azure infrastructure experience, with level determined by technical expertise, experience, and certifications.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud resources.
  • Provision and manage Azure compute and storage services, including virtual machines, managed disks, storage accounts, and Azure Files.
  • Support Azure networking, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, private endpoints, routing, and connectivity.
  • Manage Azure identity and access controls, including RBAC and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or comparable technologies.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security; troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Support backup, recovery, patching, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resiliency.
  • Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, application, and operations teams to support secure and reliable Azure environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring as appropriate.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure compute and storage concepts and services.
  • Experience provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Azure resources.
  • Knowledge of Azure networking, identity and access management, security, backup, and recovery.
  • Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux workloads in Azure.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, or Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
     

Desired:

  • Microsoft Azure role-based certification beyond the Fundamentals (AZ-900) level, such as Azure Administrator Associate or a comparable intermediate/advanced certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, including developing and maintaining infrastructure configurations.
  • Experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, or similar scripting and automation tools.
  • Experience integrating Infrastructure as Code with CI/CD or DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government cloud environments.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
