CelebriOS is seeking a Backend Developer to design and maintain the services, APIs and data systems behind its products. You will work with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and observable systems.
The ideal candidate combines strong programming fundamentals with practical judgment about reliability, performance and maintainability.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain backend services and APIs.
Develop data models and work with relational or NoSQL databases.
Integrate internal systems with third-party services.
Improve application performance, security and reliability.
Write automated tests and technical documentation.
Monitor production services and resolve incidents.
Review code and contribute to architecture decisions.
Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps and product teams.
3+ years of professional backend development experience.
Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, Go or C#.
Experience designing REST, GraphQL or event-driven services.
Working knowledge of SQL and database design.
Understanding of authentication, authorization and API security.
Familiarity with Git, automated testing and deployment workflows.
Ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containers, message queues and distributed systems.
Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure monitoring or Kubernetes.
