About the Role:
As a Backend Engineer, you'll collaborate directly with the CTO to architect and build the core infrastructure of Pod. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the foundation of a platform designed to push the boundaries of decentralized applications.
Responsibilities:
Architect and Build: Design and implement critical systems, including consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering processes, and state management.
Innovate: Address complex challenges in distributed systems and cryptography to enhance scalability and robustness.
Collaborate: Work closely with the founding team to iterate rapidly based on feedback from our integration partners and other members of the blockchain ecosystem.
Set Standards: Establish benchmarks, tools, and best practices to ensure the system is efficient, scalable, and developer-friendly.
Qualifications:
Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain systems, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
Backend Development: Experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Rust. Experience in libraries like alloy and reth is appreciated.
Adaptability: Ability to dive into new technologies and concepts with ease.
Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a small, high-performing team.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing clean, maintainable code and clear documentation.
