About Buildots

Buildots is the world’s most advanced construction intelligence platform. By comparing schedules and BIM against site reality, its advanced AI transforms granular data into insights that unlock operational excellence.

Fortune 500 contractors and owners trust Buildots, including Turner Construction, JE Dunn, Intel, STO Building Group and Mortenson. Its impact is proven at every scale, from multi-family projects to multi-gigawatt data centers.

With over $160M raised and major expansion happening in 2026, this is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling company reshaping one of the world’s largest industries.

About the Role

At Buildots, we know that the key to growth lies in a high-performing sales team. We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to act as the vanguard of our market expansion, moving beyond lead generation towards true long-term relationship building.

As a BDR, you won't just be booking meetings; you will be identifying high-value opportunities, mapping complex organizational structures, and initiating meaningful dialogue with leaders in the construction world. You will play a crucial role in building the initial foundation of trust and credibility that leads to long-term enterprise partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Focus on quality. Initiate and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the construction lifecycle, moving beyond cold outreach to insightful, value-driven conversations.
  • Account Mapping & Intelligence: Research and analyze target accounts to understand their unique pain points, organizational charts, and decision-making coalitions. You will be the resident expert on "who's who" within your assigned territory.
  • Targeted Outreach & Personalization: Design and execute multi-channel outreach strategies that speak directly to the challenges of Decision Makers and Project Teams, positioning Buildots as a strategic solution rather than just a tool.
  • Discovery & Qualification: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls to qualify opportunities based on strategic fit. You will ensure a seamless, high-context handoff to the Sales team, providing them with the "intelligence" needed to win the deal.
  • Collaborative Pods: Work in close-knit "pods" with Account Executives and Marketing to align on account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and ensure a unified brand voice across all touchpoints.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay at the forefront of construction technology trends. Act as a consultant to our prospects, sharing insights on how AI and Computer Vision are reshaping the global construction landscape.

Requirements

  • Experience:1–2 years of experience as an SDR/BDR in a B2B environment.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to open doors and build relationships with new stakeholders through outbound outreach.
  • Drive for Results: Highly results-driven, resilient, and motivated to consistently achieve and surpass goals and targets.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and qualify senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic: Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Efficient: Organized and process-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Tech Stack: Experience with Salesforce — is an advantage.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a good sense of humor.
