Job Description

Join Agilent’s high growth BioPharma Segment Marketing team and lead one of the company’s most important market initiatives. In this role, you’ll spearhead global commercialization strategies for emerging opportunities—starting with GLP 1 manufacturing—and play a visible role shaping Agilent’s next wave of innovation.

This is a high visibility; high impact role designed for a strategic thinker who thrives in cross functional leadership and loves turning emerging market opportunities into scalable global programs.

The role is involved in several key initiatives:

  • Drive the global commercialization strategy for GLP 1 manufacturing and adjacent BioPharma opportunities.

  • Contribute to compelling business cases that secure investment, alignment, and prioritization across the organization.

  • Define opportunity sizing, customer needs, and long term strategic roadmaps.

Cross Functional Leadership

  • Lead a global, cross functional core team across Segment Marketing, Sales, Product Lines, Marketing, and Communications.

  • Drive alignment and collaboration from early research through global launch and scale up.

  • Influence without authority — and be the strategic connective tissue across teams.

Insight Generation & Opportunity Development

  • Translate customer, regulatory, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategy.

  • Identify new workflows, applications, and solution gaps that fuel Agilent’s innovation pipeline.

Go to Market Execution

  • Partner with Marketing to craft differentiated messaging, positioning, and content.

  • Develop and deploy sales tools, training, and playbooks that drive global adoption.

Performance & Executive Reporting

  • Track global execution, KPIs, revenue impact, and program milestones.

  •  Provide frequent strategic updates to executive sponsors and cross functional leaders.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years in segment marketing, product marketing, strategy, consulting, or similar roles.

  • Experience in BioPharma, bioprocessing, or related scientific markets.

  • Strong ability to influence without authority and lead global programs.

  • Proven success developing business cases, market strategies, or GTM initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent.

Preferred

  • Experience in peptide therapeutics, GLP 1 pathways, or biologics manufacturing.

  • Background with analytical instrumentation, bioprocess workflows, or pharma QC.

  • Prior leadership of global commercialization initiatives.
