Since its inception, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. has grown into a globally-recognized brand with 16 international locations throughout Asia, Europe and Mexico and 22 locations in the United States.

The story of Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. began in 1996, debuting on Cannery Row in Monterey, California, as the first and only (even to this day) casual restaurant chain based on a motion picture property.

• Lead a dynamic team of engineers to innovate and develop cutting-edge solutions for our technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to align engineering efforts with business objectives and deliver high-quality products on time.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, providing mentorship and guidance to team members to help them reach their full potential while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

What you'll do

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, setting clear goals, priorities, and timelines to ensure project success and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Drive technical excellence and best practices within the team, promoting collaboration, code quality, and innovation to deliver high-performing, reliable software solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineers, providing regular feedback, support, and professional development opportunities to help them grow their skills, advance their careers, and contribute effectively to the team's success.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leadership in an engineering or technical role, with experience managing and mentoring a team of software engineers or developers.
• Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and languages, enabling effective oversight and guidance of engineering projects from conception to delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and inspire and motivate team members to achieve shared goals.
