About the Role
Conduit’s backend team builds the systems that power the Conduit Platform. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling out the next-generation of Ethereum services at Conduit. This is a great opportunity to make a massive impact building scalable distributed Ethereum based solutions.
In this role you’ll be working on building out scalable, efficient, and performant EVM based solutions for the Conduit Platform. This includes improving the Node, EVM, and supporting components; as well as exploring alternative solutions such as Reth – and their potential for positive impact in the Conduit Platform.
Responsibilities
Architect, design, and evolve the EVM Node solutions powering the Conduit Platform
Deliver scalable and robust software solutions in a devops environment
Create and improve tooling and process to improve maintainability and reliability
Participate in oncall rotation
Qualifications
Deep understanding of the EVM and surrounding Node
Experience working with ethereum internals (i.e. EVM, debuggers, block explorers, tracers, etc.)
Understanding of tooling patterns and practices for developers on EVM networks
Experience designing, implementing, and running production services
Experience debugging complex issues across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
Collaborate effectively with other engineers to solve complex technical problems (mentoring, peer-reviews, design reviews, etc.).
We think you’ll find this work really exciting if you:
Love the EVM for what it is, and are excited about building best in class tooling and infrastructure for it and around it.
Are excited to push the envelope of EVM performance at scale
Our tech stack
A flavor of technologies in-use:
Languages: Golang, python, rust
Databases: Postgres, redis, GCS
While we value experience with these technologies, we are primarily looking for engineers with strong technical skills and the ability to quickly pick up new tools and frameworks.
