About the project

Fixpoint is hiring Blockchain Engineers for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Blockchain Engineer.

You're a good fit if you have experience with:

  • Designing and developing smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or Vyper
  • Writing secure, gas-efficient, and auditable smart contract code
  • Blockchain node management, deployment, and monitoring
  • Integrating blockchain networks with traditional systems or APIs

or have similar experience.


RequirementsMust-have qualifications
  • Have 5+ years full-time work experience
  • Native-level English skills
  • U.S. residency
  • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
  • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).
Nice-to-haves
  • Participation in hackathons, DeFi projects, or NFT launches
  • Background in cryptographic research, distributed systems, or computer science theory
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation for blockchain operations

BenefitsCompensation & logistics
  • Hourly pay: $32 – $82, commensurate with experience and project fit.
    • Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates
  • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
  • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
  • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
