Client is looking for a highly motivated Board Design Engineer to become a key member of the Network Switching Hardware Development team. As a team member you will work with cross functional teams to define and drive system architecture based on devices and will work with chip development team to define system solutions for future generation products.
The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who:
- Has outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Is eager to take an ownership and follow-through the issues on their own
- Is a proven self-starter and team leader with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Job Requirements Required Qualifications:
- Experience in taking a complex design from start to finish (design through production)
- Experience with Viewdraw/DxDesigner and Cadence Allegro
- Extensive lab experience in system bringup, characterizing and debugging complex embedded systems (power, digital, analog, SI)
Additional InformationDesirable Qualifications:
- Scripting in Perl, TC L, VB, or shell
- Familiarity with Signal/Power/Impedance tools
- Experience with volume PCB production design and test
- Exposure to mechanical and thermal analysis
