About Kustomer

Kustomer is the industry leading conversational CRM platform perfecting every customer experience. Built with intelligent tools such as AI and Automation, no code-configuration and a connected data platform that unifies data from multiple sources through a single timeline, Kustomer empowers businesses to operate with greater efficiency and deliver more personalized service to customers across any channel, making every interaction more meaningful and memorable. Today, Kustomer is the core platform for some of the leading customer service brands like Abercrombie, Away Travel, Reformation, Hexclad and Sweetgreen.

Kustomer was founded in 2015 by serial entrepreneurs Brad Birnbaum and Jeremy Suriel and has raised over $230M in funding backed by leading VCs. Meta announced its intention to acquire Kustomer in 2020 and completed the transaction in 2022. Kustomer joined Meta’s Business Messaging Group to transform the way people and businesses communicate through modern messaging channels.

In 2023, Kustomer spun out from Meta as a standalone company backed by original partners, Battery, Redpoint and Boldstart Ventures, who have invested $60M. In 2025, Kustomer announced a $30M Series B led by Norwest, with continued support from Battery, Redpoint, and boldstart. This milestone reflects strong conviction in our vision and fuels our next chapter of growth: expanding our AI-native platform, accelerating product innovation, and scaling our exceptional team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to elevate Kustomer’s visual identity across every touchpoint—from campaigns and events to digital channels and thought leadership content. As part of our Marketing team, you’ll help shape how the world sees and experiences Kustomer.

  • Campaign Design: Concept, design, and deliver assets for integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, events, print, video)

  • Content Creation: Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to create engaging visuals for presentations, case studies, product launches, and customer stories

  • Creative Strategy: Partner with the Creative Director to translate business objectives into compelling visual storytelling

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and product designers to maintain a unified brand voice and experience

  • Innovation: Stay on top of design trends and bring fresh ideas to help Kustomer stand out in a competitive market

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and feedback to our agency partners

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience in brand, marketing, or visual design (preferably in SaaS, B2B, and/or tech)

  • A portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in typography, layout, color, and digital-first design

  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and designing with motion in mind (After Effects, Premiere, etc. a plus)

  • Experience developing creative concepts for multi-channel campaigns

  • Strong communication skills - you can present ideas clearly and persuasively to both creative and non-creative stakeholders

  • A systems-thinker who can balance creativity with brand consistency

  • Passion for collaboration, curiosity, and pushing creative boundaries
