About Us:

At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.

Today, LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and Agent Builder are used by teams shipping real AI products across startups and large enterprises. Millions of developers trust LangChain to power AI teams at companies like Replit, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, and 35% of the Fortune 500.

With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.

About the Team:

The Brand team is responsible for shaping how LangChain shows up in the world — visually, culturally, and strategically. We work closely with design, social, product marketing, and growth teams to ensure that everything LangChain puts into the world feels cohesive, high-quality, and unmistakably us. Our goal is not just brand awareness, but brand affinity with developers building the next generation of AI systems.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Brand Lead to own how LangChain shows up in the market — and how it feels. In this role, you’ll drive LangChain’s brand presence across paid channels, cultural activations, and developer communities while building the credibility and affinity that makes LangChain memorable to developers. You’ll work closely with design, social, product marketing, and demand generation teams to ensure our brand is consistent, distinctive, and resonant with the technical audiences building on our platform.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you’ll help translate LangChain’s strong technical reputation and developer community into a brand that compounds over time.

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY

What You’ll Do:

Cultural Relevance & Brand Affinity

  • Develop brand moments that earn attention. Conceive and execute unexpected, clever brand activations that feel native to the developer world – the kind of things that get shared because they're genuinely interesting, not because they're a campaign. You'll bring the ideas; you'll also own making them happen.

  • Drive developer community presence. Own LangChain's brand engagement and affinity across developer communities and channels, both organically and through paid partnerships. Lead our presence in spaces like Reddit, and partner with newsletters and niche publications on sponsorships that feel native rather than interruptive.

  • Be the internal champion for brand personality. Own and evolve how LangChain sounds and feels across all external touchpoints. Develop and maintain a distinct brand voice – technically credible, opinionated, and human – and codify it, so it’s reflected in everything we do.

  • Raise the bar for brand vibe and polish. Partner closely with the design team to consistently push the quality and feel of everything LangChain puts out – from campaign assets to swag to social visuals. Bring a strong POV on what looks and feels right into every briefing, review, and vendor selection.

    Paid & Owned Brand Presence

  • Own our out-of-home advertising program. Develop and manage LangChain's OOH strategy, including media planning, vendor negotiations, and buy execution across billboards, transit, and targeted placements in key markets. Own messaging, production timelines, asset delivery, and post-campaign measurement.

  • Drive paid digital brand investments. Identify, evaluate, and manage brand sponsorships across developer-focused podcasts, newsletters, and digital channels. Own the full lifecycle from channel evaluation and contract negotiation to creative briefing and performance reporting.

  • Investigate and test influencer and creator partnerships. Explore what influencer and thought leader partnerships could look like for LangChain. Run experiments with developers, AI practitioners, and technical community builders across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and beyond. Learn what works, build on it, and develop our approach over time.

  • Manage inbound PR and media opportunities. Serve as the first point of contact for press and media inquiries, and own the process of evaluating and routing opportunities as they arise. You'll make sure LangChain shows up well when it counts.

Brand Standards & Measurement

  • Own the LangChain vibe. You're the person who cares that everything we put out. A billboard, a podcast ad, a cold email, a one-pager, a piece of swag – should feel unmistakably and consistently us. That means more than a style guide: you'll shape the voice, the aesthetic sensibility, the tone, and the cultural positioning of our brand across every touchpoint. Your job is to raise the ceiling on what LangChain looks and sounds like.

  • Measure and report on brand performance. Build and maintain reporting on brand channel performance, including reach, share of voice, and pipeline influence. Always have a point of view on what's working and what to do next.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Cultural antenna: You have genuine taste and a strong instinct for what resonates with technical, skeptical audiences. You notice what's working in developer culture before it becomes obvious, and you know how to translate that into brand action.

  • Brand voice and creative sensibility: You can write compelling copy yourself and have a strong POV on tone, language, and personality. You’re someone who elevates the creative output around you.

  • Ownership mentality: You thrive with autonomy, take initiative before being asked, and are energized by building programs from scratch in a fast-moving environment.

  • Technical curiosity: Genuine interest in AI and the developer ecosystem. Familiarity with LangChain products or similar tools is a strong plus. You'll need to become fluent in what we build and who we build it for.

Nice to Have:
  • Proven brand builder: You've owned brand campaigns end-to-end and can point to tangible results. You've managed OOH, sponsorships, or similar programs before.

  • Media buyer instincts: You understand how to evaluate and negotiate a media buy. You know what good value looks like and how to hold vendors accountable.

  • Influencer and partnership experience: You've built or contributed to creator or influencer programs in a technical or niche context. You know how to find the right voices, structure deals, and manage relationships without making it feel forced.

  • Developer marketing experience: You understand what earns trust with technical audiences and what makes them cringe. You're drawn to channels they actually pay attention to and instinctively avoid anything that feels like marke

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks. Benefits include things like medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, and life insurance. Actual compensation and offerings will vary based on role, level, and location. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.

Annual salary: $160,000 - $200,000 USD
