What you will do

The Brand Manager, Aveeno Body & Hair Activation will lead activation strategy and execution across Aveeno Body & Hair, translating brand priorities into integrated consumer and customer plans that drive business impact. This role will serve as the lead for customer co-planning and media execution, partnering closely with global brand, media, PR, influencer, customer, and agency teams to deliver high-quality assets, optimized activation plans, and strong in-market execution. The Brand Manager will help bring Aveeno priorities to life through tentpole category activations, innovation asset development, US asset adaptations, BME tracking, and PR/organic influencer strategy support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Aveeno Body & Hair brand activation planning process, ensuring plans are rooted in brand strategy, integrated across channels, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Partner with customer and sales strategy teams to translate brand priorities into retailer-relevant activation plans, toolkits, and customer-facing materials.
  • Manage media asset needs, execution timelines, and optimization inputs in partnership with integrated agency and cross-functional teams.
  • Guide agency partners through clear briefs, actionable feedback, timely decision-making, and strong alignment to Aveeno brand strategy and executional standards.
  • Lead planning and execution for category-focused tentpole activations that connect consumer and customer touchpoints and deliver against brand priorities.
  • Review and approve materials through the MLR process as a certified brand approver, ensuring claims, assets, and executions align with approved brand standards.
  • Partner with the Global Brand Team on NPI asset development, including media assets, PDP content, launch toolkits, and related activation materials.
  • Adapt and transcreate global, regional, or master assets for the US market while maintaining Aveeno brand consistency and local relevance.
  • Own BME budget tracking and serve as a budget liaison to support disciplined planning, visibility, and coordination across activation workstreams.
  • Partner with PR and influencer teams to support organic and influencer strategy, asset inputs, approvals, and activation alignment.
  • Manage a team of 2 Media & Comms ABMs and foster a high-performance culture grounded in integrity, creativity, teamwork, insight, and excellence.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of business experience required, including at least 3 years of progressive commercial experience.
  • Marketing or sales experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment required.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience translating insights into business recommendations required.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and presenting strategy to senior-level stakeholders required.
  • Experience building strong cross-functional relationships and influencing across teams required;.
  • P&L, financial management, and business or strategic planning experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • People management experience preferred.
  • Experience across different product life cycles, including mature brands, new launches, and turnaround opportunities preferred.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$124,100.00 - $175,200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
