The Staff Cost & Pricing Strategy Analyst serves as the focal point for pricing and cost analytics across AMG and ISG. This role is responsible for monitoring market pricing trends, analyzing cost drivers, evaluating pricing opportunities, and supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies that optimize revenue and gross margin performance.

The position works closely with Business Unit Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to identify pricing actions, assess market competitiveness, quantify the impact of cost changes, and drive strategic pricing decisions.

Responsibilities

Pricing & Market Analysis

  • Lead ongoing analysis of product pricing, ASP trends, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor market conditions, customer demand, supply constraints, and industry pricing movements to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate pricing performance by product family, customer, channel, and region.
  • Develop pricing insights and recommendations to support revenue growth and margin expansion.

Cost Analysis & Margin Management

  • Analyze manufacturing, material, packaging, logistics, and supply chain cost changes.
  • Quantify the financial impact of cost increases and recommend pricing actions to protect profitability.
  • Support gross margin improvement initiatives through data-driven pricing and cost optimization strategies.
  • Track and report cost headwinds, recovery actions, and margin performance.

Pricing Strategy Development

  • Partner with Pricing and BU Marketing teams to develop short-term and long-term pricing strategies.
  • Support price increase programs, contract negotiations, LTSA reviews, and strategic customer pricing actions.
  • Assess pricing opportunities associated with supply constraints, market shortages, product transitions, and value differentiation.
  • Build business cases and financial models to support pricing decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary pricing and cost analytics focal point for AMG and ISG.
  • Drive alignment across Business Units, Pricing, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Present pricing recommendations and executive-level insights to business leadership.
  • Establish consistent pricing analytics, reporting, and governance processes across divisions.

Reporting & Business Insights

  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive summaries to track pricing performance.
  • Monitor price realization, ASP trends, margin impact, and implementation status of pricing actions.
  • Provide regular updates on market conditions, competitive pricing activity, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, business operations, finance, marketing analytics, or cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data visualization skills.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytical tools.
  • Experience working in semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or industrial markets preferred.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
