The Role

Financial institutions are navigating rapid change driven by evolving customer expectations, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, new competitors, and changing business models. Capco’s Business Consulting teams help clients respond to this complexity, identify opportunities, and deliver meaningful transformation.

As a Business Analyst Senior Consultant, you will support strategy, transformation, and business consulting engagements across financial services. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with client stakeholders to define strategic priorities, translate complex requirements into actionable solutions, and deliver transformation initiatives.

You will act as a trusted advisor, lead critical workstreams, support and mentor colleagues, and bring structured thinking and practical business analysis expertise to complex client challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategy and transformation workstreams, helping financial services clients shape business models, operating models, transformation priorities, and roadmaps.
  • Build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders, translating complex business needs into clear requirements, processes, EPICs, user stories, and actionable solutions.
  • Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder sessions, quantitative analysis, and research to identify opportunities and inform recommendations.
  • Develop compelling business cases and executive-level presentations, using clear storytelling and data visualization to communicate strategic value and measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, RFP responses, and thought leadership while supporting and mentoring colleagues across project teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategy, transformation, or consulting within financial services, working across business and technology.
  • Experience leading requirements elicitation, workshops, and stakeholder sessions, including engagement with senior executives.
  • Strong understanding of transformation strategy, including current and future-state analysis, operating models, prioritization, roadmap development, and process re-engineering.
  • Experience developing business cases and recommendations that clearly communicate value, priorities, and solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience building trusted relationships across business and technology teams.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience across multiple financial services domains, including Insurance, Banking & Payments, Wealth & Asset Management, or Capital Markets.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, including EPIC creation and user story development.
  • Experience contributing to or leading consulting proposals, RFP responses, and thought leadership.
  • Experience mentoring colleagues and supporting the development of high-performing consulting teams.
  • An established or emerging network of senior financial services stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
