This role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, market knowledge, and analytical skills.

•    Partner closely with engineering throughout implementation; clarifying requirements, answering design questions, and making real-time product decisions to keep work on track.
•    Translate complex investment and portfolio construction workflows into well-structured, buildable requirements.

Quality & Support

•    Synthesize feedback from clients, prospects, and internal teams to inform the product roadmap and feature prioritization.

Requirements:
•    5+ years of experience in a product or technical role within finance or tech, ideally at a hedge fund or other investment management firm or related software vendor.
•    Strong technical ability: advanced Excel analysis, comfort with basic scripting, and enough fluency in code to communicate effectively with and direct developers.
•    Solid market and domain knowledge, including hedge fund strategies, portfolio construction, trade workflows, and trade allocations.
•    Working understanding of core risk concepts such as beta and the greeks.
•    Fixed income knowledge, including duration and interest rate risk.
•    Familiarity with FX and cash management.
•    Familiarity with core product management practices, including Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with Jira.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into actionable solutions.
•    Excellent verbal communication skills and a proven ability to draft clear technical specifications for developers.
