The Analyst, Business Analytics provides analytical support across Marketing, Operations, and strategic business initiatives for the Dine Brands portfolio, with a primary focus on supporting the Applebee's and IHOP brands.

This role delivers high-quality insights, reporting, and analysis that directly support strategic decision-making, business performance, and growth across multiple brands and functional areas. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Analytics and works closely with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide proactive analytical support across both the Applebee's and IHOP brands to drive Dine Brands' strategic objectives and business performance.
•    Support day-to-day data needs as well as larger analytical initiatives, including forecasting, statistical modeling, and data-driven analyses related to consumer behavior, market dynamics, menu innovation, and operational performance.
•    Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and scorecards to track performance, measure key business metrics, and identify trends.
•    Serve as a key analytics partner to teams across both Applebee's and IHOP, helping identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and support strategic decision-making.
•    Partner closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Culinary, Operations, IT, Consumer Insights, Business Intelligence, and brand leadership teams.
•    Synthesize insights from multiple data sources and business partners into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for leadership audiences, including the C-Suite.
•    Apply knowledge of the family dining and restaurant industry to interpret results, identify opportunities, and provide meaningful business context.
•    Translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations that support enterprise objectives.
•    Contribute as a collaborative, engaged team member within a high-performing Analytics and Insights organization.
•    Target Salary $75k-$90k depending on experience.

Skills & Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
•    1 to 3 years of experience in Business Analytics, Consumer Insights, Strategy, Finance, or a related analytical role preferred.
•    Experience analyzing consumer, operational, sales, or financial data.
•    Strong interest in the restaurant, hospitality, retail, or consumer-facing industries.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Experience with MicroStrategy and data visualization tools preferred as well as experience working with large datasets and business intelligence platforms; exposure to SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical tools is a plus.
•    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
•    Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand the "why" behind the data.
•    Ability to distill complex information into concise insights and recommendations for business partners.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
•    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
