About the Role

We are looking for a Business Architect to join our Business Consulting Practice. Someone who lights up in a client workshop, loves untangling a messy business process, and builds trust with stakeholders through curiosity and follow-through.

This is not a developer role, and it is not a pure platform expert role. It is a consulting role built on a Salesforce foundation. We want someone who has spent the last several years in the Salesforce ecosystem running discovery sessions, leading workshops, and helping clients understand their own business better. Technical background is welcome, but it doesn't substitute for consulting instincts — you must be able to lead a room, run discovery, and own client conversations as a business consultant first.

All new Business Architects complete a week-long Revenue Cloud training when they join. The right person treats that ramp as an opportunity, not a detour.

Travel is part of this role. Expect to be onsite with clients a few times per quarter for workshops, kickoffs, and key sessions. You should be energized by that, not reluctant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate business process workshops and discovery sessions; agenda, facilitation, synthesis, and follow-up
  • Lead journey mapping, current-state / future-state walkthroughs, and stakeholder interviews
  • Translate business conversations into clear functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders through consistent follow-through and genuine curiosity about their business
  • Travel onsite a few times per quarter for workshops, kickoffs, and key delivery milestones
  • Partner with Technical Leads to hand off clean, well-documented functional specs. You own the what and why, they own the how
  • Present options to business stakeholders in plain language, not platform jargon
  • Use AI tools to accelerate user stories, solution designs, and presentations — while keeping human judgment in the loop on what's right for the client
  • Contribute to internal delivery assets like templates, playbooks, and process standards
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of Salesforce experience in a consulting, professional services, or SI environment with meaningful client-facing delivery
  • Demonstrated experience running workshops, discovery sessions, or facilitated working sessions with business stakeholders. Ability to create visually appealing and compelling presentations and readouts
  • Comfortable with business process work: journey mapping, current-state documentation, gap analysis, requirements gathering
  • Quote-to-cash experience (CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Apttus/Conga, Zuora, or comparable) is strongly preferred and required for the mid-to-upper end of the compensation band; candidates at the lower end must have solid Salesforce experience and a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on Revenue Cloud
  • Fluency with AI tools in your day-to-day work (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM, Claude) to accelerate user stories, solution designs, and presentations — including the ability to prompt effectively rather than accept first-draft output, and the judgment to know that AI accelerates the work without replacing the consultant's judgment
  • Strong communicator who can hold a room without being the loudest person in it. You listen well and ask the right follow-up questions
  • Able and willing to travel onsite a few times per quarter
  • Experience producing functional artifacts: user stories, process flows, meeting summaries, requirements docs
  • For the top of the compensation band: enterprise-scale client experience and a demonstrated track record of solving complex, ambiguous business problems — not just configuring a known solution pattern
  • Salesforce certifications are a positive signal but not a requirement; consulting ability and workshop experience come first
  • Exposure to subscription, SaaS, or recurring revenue business models is a plus
What We Value
  • Genuine curiosity about how clients' businesses work and what's getting in the way
  • Energy in a room. You make workshops productive and stakeholders feel heard
  • Follow-through. You do what you said you'd do, and you flag early when something's off
  • A tour guide mindset: you lead clients toward better outcomes rather than simply taking requests
  • Openness to learning. You're not threatened by a platform ramp; you're energized by it
Our Core Values in Action
  • Collaboration — working across stakeholders, teammates, and partners to drive value in every interaction
  • Creativity — bringing fresh thinking to how we solve problems, work together, and deliver for clients
  • Trust — operating with openness, ethics, and integrity in every engagement
  • Ownership — taking personal accountability for outcomes, not just activities
  • Passion — caring deeply about the impact of your work on clients, colleagues, and Neocol

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
