Why this Role Matters

We are looking for a proactive, resourceful, and relationship-oriented Business Development / Lead Key Account Manager to help shape strategic growth by building meaningful partnerships with emerging Asian EV OEMs, major car dealer groups, and fast-growing automotive customers. This role is central to expanding our presence in high-potential markets, uncovering new opportunities, and making a positive impact in the evolving mobility landscape. You will play a key role in fostering trust, collaboration, and long-term success with our partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Explore Growth Opportunities: Research high-potential customers, dealer networks, and strategic partners across Europe to identify opportunities for meaningful collaboration.

  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Develop strong, trust-based relationships with key automotive players, creating thoughtful contact strategies and supporting long-term partnerships.

  • Own the Key Account Plan: Guide the strategy for selected accounts, ensuring alignment and collaboration across Goodyear’s Sales Teams.

  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Pricing to deliver consistent value and a seamless experience for our partners.

  • Deepen Market Understanding: Develop comprehensive knowledge of designated EU key markets and actively contribute to high-stakes discussions and negotiations.

  • Support Regional Alignment: Coordinate with local Key Account Managers to share insights, foster collaboration, and support regional business development initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • University degree or equivalent, with 5+ years in Sales, Customer Management, or Business Development, ideally in the EV industry or with Asian EV OEMs.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships.

  • Strong market research and analytical skills, with knowledge of EU automotive and EV markets.

  • Experience collaborating across functions (Marketing, Finance, Pricing) to deliver consistent results.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with tools like Power BI, Salesforce, or Tableau.
