What you will be doing
  • Supports project pursuit strategy with Operational Business Development leadership to support corporate strategy.
  • Attends and participates in industry outreach and informational events to gain local contacts and identify possible project work for the Company.
  • Connect with professional contacts to promote company and maintain relationships.
  • Work with Business Development Leadership to vet, assess teaming partners and suitability on a project by project basis.
  • Prepare capture plans and supporting documentation for each key opportunity.
  • Collaborate with Business Development leadership in identifying key internal personnel and subcontractor alliances to engage and support pursuit efforts.
  • Prepare and draft responsive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submittals.
  • Track and maintains an accurate list of key pursuits within CRM System and respective business development activity.
  • Manages and organizes CRM database and provides regular reporting to Business Development Leadership.
  • Collaborate with Business Development leadership in identifying key internal personnel and subcontractor alliances to engage and support pursuit efforts.
  • Oversee and support the collection and creation of proposal documents during all phases of the pursuit process to ensure final product is market quality and includes all required aspects of the request.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or other related field.
  • 4+ years’ business development or related experience in a construction, engineering or design firm required.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, organize and track construction projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to initiate and develop personal and professional relationships in the industry.
  • Proven leadership skills used to identify key internal personnel and drive business development efforts forward while maintaining the ultimate needs of the Owner.
  • Understanding of business A.I. Tools and other design software tools including InDesign and Adobe Illustrator are an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively and with a quality mindset in a deadline driven environment.
  • Able to travel occasionally as required.
