In this role, you will:
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research across the Cards and Personal Loans business areas to identify and evaluate business development opportunities
- Partner with business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align partnership opportunities to business-defined priorities and strategies, with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services
- Develop clear, compelling outreach and pitch materials to prospective partners and support partnership discussions
- Support partnership structuring and negotiations, including development of deal constructs and supporting financials
- Coordinate hand-offs with internal stakeholders to support post-deal execution and ongoing partner management
- Support governance, risk, and control activities related to partnership approval and execution
- 5+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Business Development experience at a top-tier credit card issuer
- Proven track record of supporting end-to-end business development efforts for card product benefits and loyalty services, from prospecting to deal execution.
- Strong understanding of credit card economics and the broader ecosystem of issuers, networks, fintechs, and merchants.
- Experience building financial models and business cases.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
