Job Title: Business Development Executive, Data Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven salesperson focused on data licenses and direct to consumer marketing programs for large marketing agencies and multi-client organizations. Responsibilities include identifying potential clients, understanding their data needs, presenting tailored licensing solutions and program strategies, and negotiating contracts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proven process to discover, strategize and deliver on client objectives, a background in B2B sales, and a deep understanding of direct to consumer marketing, data products and licensing models. This role requires proactive prospecting, relationship management, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

What You Will Do As A Business Development Executive, Data Sales

  • Deliver revenue by identifying, pursuing and closing new, qualified client relationships using a data-centric solution based selling approach.
  • Finding and engaging prospects, presenting solutions, writing proposals, negotiating deal points and closing business
  • Create and establish trusted partner client relationships
  • Provide professional after-sales support and transition to client partnership team
  • Maintain contact with clients to understand and support their ongoing objectives.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals.
  • Travel to visit prospects, clients and conferences. 10-20% of time possible

What You Will Bring As A Business Development Executive, Data Sales

  • College degree or minimum 5 years in direct marketing
  •  Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Comfortable with outbound prospect calls
  • Proven experience as a data sales executive or account manager within the direct marketing industry
  • Strong network of stakeholders and decision makers
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Familiarity with all forms of marketing data and agility in creating client solutions
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Dynamics)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member 

Pay Range*: $67,500 - 94,500

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.

You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
