The Opportunity:  

We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to drive our aggressive expansion. As Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and securing customers, as well as managing your book of business which you secure. This role offers high visibility, autonomy, and a direct impact on the company's growth.

What You'll Do: 

  • Aggressively identify, reach out, create new opportunities, negotiate, and secure new customers to support our growth. 

  • Lead and perform due diligence and data gathering about your sales territory and grow your pipeline of opportunities and accounts 

  • Negotiate and close Ocean import, Ocean export, Air import, Air export, and Customs Brokerage opportunities 

  • Foster and grow business development relations with customers, entertain and appreciate our customers 

  • Extreme follow up with client requests and conduct quarterly business reviews collaborating internally with operations and externally with customers 

  • Manage your territory of customer and conduct routine customer visits 
     
    Must-haves in a Candidate: 

  • Willingness to learn and curiosity to build this skill set 

  • Strong, winning sales and project management experience 

  • Ability to recommend and make sound decisions 

  • Direct and factual communication style 

  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accountability and correctness 

  • Ability to change and adapt to the business landscape quickly 
     
    Nice to Have in a Candidate: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and or equivalent experience 

  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth international freight forwarding service providers 

  • Knowledge of Sales territory and geographics and demographics 
     
    Details: 

  • Experience International Freight Forwarding sales experience required

  •  This is a full-time salaried job 

  • Frequent travel within Territory
