Today we're deployed across leading financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies, embedded in the tools and workflows they rely on. We operate at the frontier of agentic knowledge work, partnering closely with top AI research labs and backed by the OpenAI Startup Fund. About the Role

Location: New York City (Primary), Denver, Chicago, Singapore (APAC), London, San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles
Commitment: 5 Days In-Person

We're looking for someone who can find a promising market, build the first relationships and prove whether Endex belongs there.

As a Business Development Manager at Endex, you'll develop new commercial opportunities beyond the established sales motion. You'll work with leadership and AEs to validate markets and turn early conversations into repeatable business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Validate New Markets: Develop a clear thesis about a customer segment, its workflows and the practical route to a first purchase.

  • Build Relationships: Open conversations with prospective customers and relevant industry organizations.

  • Test Commercial Demand: Use customer interviews, targeted outreach and small commercial experiments to assess urgency, buying behavior and repeatability.

  • Develop Opportunities: Create qualified commercial opportunities and agree ownership with sales.

  • Create a Repeatable Motion: Document what converts, recommend where to invest and hand validated opportunities to the sales or partnerships owner.

What We're Looking For

  • Commercial Builder: You've opened a market, developed a new business line or built relationships from zero.

  • Analytical Thinker: You use evidence to decide whether an opportunity deserves more investment.

  • Credible Externally: You can represent Endex with senior industry stakeholders.

  • Strong Executor: You turn an ambiguous thesis into meetings, experiments and decisions.

  • Evidence-Based Judgment: You can distinguish an attractive market story from a qualified commercial opportunity and explain when to stop an experiment.
