Our Business Development Team is currently looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to fill a permanent position for our Americas team. This role serves as BDR for Canada, United States of America and LATAM areas. This person will be working remotely in United States, with occasional trips to our Quebec (Canada) office or elsewhere for business requirements (tradeshows, team meetings).
ROLE OVERVIEW :

This BDR role is a keystone position between marketing and sales initiatives. As a BDR, you will be at the forefront of the “customer journey” by driving our mission, engaging with potential clients, and setting the stage for our Sales team.

MEANINGFUL RESPONSIBILITIES  :

  • Outbound prospecting and Lead qualification – 50 calls / day;
  • Generate new business opportunities to ensure Robotiq’s continued growth;
  • Leverage sales tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc., to gather and refine prospecting data;
  • Partner with key members of the sales and marketing team to develop target lists, calling strategies, and core messaging;
  • Qualify marketing campaign leads to uncover opportunities;
  • Understanding the sales process and being able to overcome objections by genuinely caring about how Robotiq can help our prospects succeed;
  • Learning about the prospect’s business needs, technical limitations, procurement process, authority landscape, timeline (BANT analysis), and showing them the value of what Robotiq can provide to their organization;
  • Schedule Qualified Lead appointments and meetings for the sales team;
  • Perform post-installation calls to identify potential repeat business;
  • Achieve weekly and monthly “Sales Ready” qualified leads, call volumes, qualification goals, and sales pipeline targets.

  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize daily activities;
  • Demonstrate motivation to achieve goals;
  • Data-driven and process- and detail-oriented;
  • Maintains a professional but confident demeanor;
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement;
  • Enthusiastic and creative, with the ability to inspire others;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish would be an additional asset.
