We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the team and help us accelerate pipeline at Conversica. You will own top-of-funnel outreach and meeting generation across target accounts, with an initial emphasis on our Automotive vertical. You will create opportunities through outbound prospecting and fast follow up on events and partner lists, partnering closely with AEs and the CRO. Success is defined by consistent qualified meetings, healthy pipeline creation, and clean handoffs.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect target accounts using calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn to create qualified meetings
  • Convert event and partner leads quickly within an agreed follow-up SLA
  • Build short account research notes and tailor messaging to pain points and personas
  • Deliver concise pre-call briefs and clean handoffs to AEs
  • Consistently update CRM (Salesforce) with accurate and timely notes
  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and keep next steps current
  • Share objections and trends to help Marketing and Sales refine campaigns and talk tracks

What We’re Looking For

  • 1 to 3 years in a BDR or SDR or other high-activity B2B sales role
  • Comfort with cold outreach and a track record creating meetings that become real opportunities
  • Clear, concise writing for short outbound messages
  • Tools familiarity: Salesforce, Outreach or Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator. ZoomInfo or similar is a plus
  • Nice to have: experience with multi-location or franchise accounts. Automotive exposure is helpful

How We Work & Growth Potential

  • Fully remote across the U.S. Join a collaborative sales team that ships, learns, and wins together.
  • Small team with high ownership; you’ll help build simple playbooks and tools as you go.
  • Coachable, curious, and resourceful; you build a basic process to hit goals, then improve it over time.
  • Partner closely with AEs, Marketing, and RevOps.
  • Clear path to AE or Senior BDR based on performance and mastery of the role.

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 – $70,000 per year, plus up to $25,000 in variable incentive pay. Salary is based on several factors such as location, relevant skills, and experience.

Conversica offers a competitive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, flex time PTO, 401(k), and equity participation.

You’ll also gain the opportunity to grow your career in a Business Development-to-AE path, and play a high-impact role on a small but mighty team where your voice is heard and your contributions make a real difference.
