2. Role Summary / Purpose

The Business Development Representative (USA) is responsible for the successful delivery of high-velocity pipeline generation across target accounts and buyer personas. This role exists to drive business growth through qualified lead creation, elevate brand presence via credible first-touch engagement, and ensure consistency and best practices across outbound prospecting and inbound follow-up—delivering significant business value by converting interest into high-quality meetings and sales-qualified opportunities.

3. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting across assigned US regions through email, phone, social media, and events to identify and qualify prospects.
  • Engage and convert marketing-generated leads through rapid follow-up, discovery, and need qualification using a defined methodology (e.g., BANT/MEDDIC-light).
  • Investigate target accounts, buying centers, and stakeholders to tailor outreach and sequences, leveraging AI-driven tools to increase relevance and response rates.
  • Manage the facilitation of high-quality first meetings and demos for the sales team.
  • Document clear context, pain points, stakeholders, and next steps to ensure a clean handoff to the sales organization.
  • Contribute to territory and account plans by collaborating with Regional Sales Managers to align coverage, outreach priorities, and feedback loops to maximize pipeline creation.
  • Update and maintain accurate account and lead data, activities, and stage progression in CRM and sales engagement tools.
  • Track activity and pipeline KPIs to ensure visibility and forecast accuracy.
  • Share market insights and collaborate with Marketing on messaging and campaign optimization to continually improve performance. 
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support team and company priorities.
4. QualificationsRequired:
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or SDR/BDR role (preferably in B2B SaaS or hospitality technology).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills—comfortable engaging senior-level decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Apollo, HubSpot).
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of activity while maintaining a focus on quality conversations and outcomes.
Preferred:
  • Specialized skills, knowledge, or experience within the hospitality, travel, or technology industry.
  • Prior experience operating within a B2B SaaS environment.
