We're entering a high-growth phase and are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to be a key driver of our growth engine. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Enterprise Account Executives, reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Sales, identifying engineering teams that are an ideal fit for AllSpice and getting meaningful exposure to the full sales cycle.

What You'll Do

Prospecting and Pipeline Generation

  • Leverage the latest AI tools to supercharge outbound prospecting and identify engineering teams that are a strong fit for AllSpice

  • Qualify new business opportunities from marketing leads, targeted company research, and networking within the engineering community

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and progress in our CRM system

  • Close opportunistic deals within our growth segment (companies with 0 to 500 employees)

Outreach and Engagement

  • Engage potential customers through calls, emails, and social media to introduce AllSpice's value proposition

  • Schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives and ensure smooth lead handoffs

  • Work closely with marketing and sales to develop targeted outbound campaigns

Market and Customer Intelligence

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and target markets to identify new opportunities and sharpen your outreach

  • Navigate complex organizational structures to find the right engineering stakeholders and decision makers

  • Participate in ongoing training to develop your sales skills and deepen your product knowledge

What We're Looking For

  • At least one year of experience in a sales development or similar role

  • Genuine enthusiasm for how things work, whether in hardware, engineering, product design, or adjacent technical fields

  • A natural appetite for AI tools and using software to work smarter and faster

  • Curiosity and persistence in working through unstructured problems and complex org charts to find the right people

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building relationships quickly

  • Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a startup or early-stage tech environment

  • Exposure to the hardware industry or experience working alongside hardware engineering teams

  • Familiarity with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC qualification methodology
