About Kodif

Kodif is a venture-backed AI startup helping leading eCommerce brands like Dollar Shave Club, Liquid I.V. (Unilever), and NomNom (Mars) transform customer support from a cost center into a growth driver. Our action-first AI platform enables CX teams to build intelligent automation across any digital channel—reducing ticket volume, improving resolution speed and accuracy, and unlocking new revenue and retention opportunities through personalized customer journeys.

Kodif's modular framework includes:

  • AI Agents that take real action

  • AI Analysts that learn and adapt

  • AI Managers that surface trends and optimize workflows

Weʼre backed by top funds including Village Global (backed by Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Reid Hoffman) and Bling Capital, and we have repeat founders with backgrounds at Uber, Stanford GSB, and Plug & Play.

Position Overview

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our founding GTM team and help drive pipeline through smart, signal-based outbound. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and our Founders to operationalize intent data, ecosystem signals, and CX trends—crafting relevant outreach that resonates with eCommerce and DTC brands.

You’re a sharp communicator, curious about buyer behavior, and energized by connecting problems to real solutions. You’ll help build the outbound engine that fuels our next stage of growth—and shape how we engage the modern enterprise buyer.

Responsibilities
  • Own top-of-funnel outbound to high-potential eCommerce and subscription brands within our ICP

  • Leverage intent signals, tech stack triggers, funding data, and partner activity to build prioritized outreach workflows

  • Craft personalized outbound across email, LinkedIn, and phone that aligns with each buyer’s context and pain points

  • Collaborate with Marketing and RevOps on signal tracking, and account prioritization

  • Partner with AEs and Field Marketing to drive RSVPs to executive dinners and engagements

  • Partner with AEs to run multithreaded outbound sequences that reflect the complexity of enterprise buying groups

  • Stay on top of CX trends, eCommerce shifts, and AI innovation to keep your outreach relevant

  • Track activities in HubSpot and provide real-time feedback on what’s resonating in the market

  • Contribute to outbound playbook development as we scale and refine our GTM motion

Why Join Kodif
  • Modern AI platform: Kodif’s action-first AI resolves real issues, not just deflects tickets

  • Pipeline meets precision: Work in a modern outbound org built around intent, ICP alignment, and ecosystem intelligence

  • Strategic exposure: You’ll partner directly with AEs, Marketing, and Partnerships—no siloed cold calling here

  • Early team, high growth: Help build the foundation of Kodif’s sales development strategy as we scale through Series A

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role (or adjacent function with outbound responsibilities)

  • Familiarity with intent data tools and sales tech (e.g., RB2B, 6sense, Apollo, Clay, Hubspot)

  • Strong written communicator who can personalize quickly and speak to business value

  • Naturally curious—you enjoy digging into a prospect’s business, tech stack, and pain points

  • Organized and coachable; able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving GTM environment

  • Bonus: experience selling to CX, Digital, or Ops leaders at eCommerce brands

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary, variable bonus, and equity at a fast-growing AI startup

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Clear paths to AE or GTM roles

  • A modern fast-paced sales environment: signal-based outbound and cross-functional GTM collaboration
