As a Business Development Representative, you'll generate leads, qualify prospects, and execute sales campaigns while collaborating with the sales team to achieve metrics.

As Business Development Representative, you will play an important role within the sales and marketing organization, qualifying and generating leads, prospecting for new clients and developing and executing sales campaigns at named accounts for the North America region.
This role can be based anywhere in the US.
What You’ll Do (aka Responsibilities)
- These may include but are not limited to:
- Generate new discovery calls and qualified pipeline for the sales team through outbound prospecting efforts: account planning and research, messaging, list building, and cadence execution (e-mail, phone calls, social selling.)
- Leveraging tools such as LinkedIn to network with prospects and educating our market on Azul.
- Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics (Opportunity creation and progression.)
- Gain/Deepen business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, what their pain points are and challenges they face every day.
- Understand prospect pain points, gather technical requirements and correlate business value to customer needs
- Pipeline organization and collaboration with Account Executives and Sales Directors for qualified meetings.
- This is an individual contributor role that reports to BDR Director who values in-the-moment coaching, weekly one-on-ones as well as autonomy to allow you to own your success.
- Occasional travel within the region.
What You’ll Bring (aka Experience, Skills Education)
- B2B telephone lead generation (minimally 1 year)
- IT or Software Solutions sales, highly desired
- Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense and Drift (preferred).
- Passion for outbound sales, cold calling and prospecting.
- Ability to have discussions at all levels within all businesses from Enterprise to mid-market across all sectors.
- High energy, results oriented, self-motivated/self-reliant, team player that can think ‘out of the box’.
- Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills.
- Exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills, able to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to maintain excellent call records.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and have a very stable work history.
- You can think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease.
- You are resilient in the face of objections and rejection.
- Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced and high growth environment.
- You are good at finding ways to motivate yourself and your teammates.
