Quicknode is a cloud-based infrastructure company that powers the blockchain ecosystem.

Our mission is to be the indispensable utility that empowers companies and innovators globally to build next-generation, Web3 enabled businesses & applications using blockchain technology. Quicknode is backed by some of the world's best investors including Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SoftBank, and the Seven Seven Six Fund. The Quicknode team has over 120 people maintaining high performance global data infrastructure for amazing customers serving billions of requests daily.

We are a global remote company with an HQ in Miami, Florida.

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Representative looking to take the next step in their career by taking full ownership of the top of the funnel and be the point person for multiple Sales units across the Organization. As an added bonus, you will also be given the chance to hone your closing skills with some of our website’s plans. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain closing experience and up-level into an Account Executive career path.

As a Business Development Representative focused on emerging markets, you’ll be on the front lines of our Product-Lead Growth (PLG) driven sales motion, engaging with innovative teams building in the decentralized world. QuickNode’s customer journey starts with self-serve plans and expands into higher tiers and enterprise solutions through product usage signals like API credits, requests per second (RPS), and support needs.

Your job will be to understand these signals, qualify opportunities, and help customers unlock more value from the platform. You’ll connect with blockchain protocols, dApps, DAOs, infrastructure providers, and other Web3-native organizations to understand their goals and educate them on how QuickNode can scale their mission. You’ll own the top of the sales funnel—qualifying inbound product-led leads, engaging high-potential free/paid customers, and driving outbound conversations informed by our PLG funnel data. This role is key to our growth in the Web3 ecosystem and offers a path to grow quickly in a rapidly evolving space.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage inbound PLG leads by identifying certain signals.

  • Conduct strategic outbound prospecting to Web3-native teams and crypto-adjacent companies, using insights from QuickNode’s inbound funnel to prioritize high-value targets.

  • Qualify inbound leads from blockchain projects, DAO contributors, NFT communities, and other decentralized orgs, ensuring a strong fit with our value levers (scalability, reliability, support).

  • Meet with developers, founders, and ecosystem leads to understand their technical goals and growth trajectory.

  • Book and confirm high-quality discovery meetings by applying frameworks like BANT and/or MEDDICC.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to refine PLG-driven messaging and expansion strategies tailored to different Web3 verticals (DeFi, NFTs, L2s, infra).

  • Share customer product feedback and usage patterns with internal teams to help shape product roadmap and growth playbooks.

  • Regularly track outreach, funnel activity, and customer upgrade signals in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Meet or exceed KPIs related to qualified pipeline, expansion opportunities, and product-led conversion rates.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience—ideally with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, developer tools, or SaaS with a PLG model.

  • Familiarity with PLG motions (self-serve to enterprise), and an understanding of triggers like usage limits, multi-team adoption, or support needs.

  • Passion for Web3 and knowledge of major ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, L2s, and emerging protocols.

  • A track record of success in outbound sales, inbound qualification, or demand generation.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak credibly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Comfort navigating fast-moving, ambiguous environments and engaging with globally distributed teams.

  • Proficiency with sales and crypto-native tools like Slack, Discord, Telegram, Salesforce, Outreach, Dune, and Etherscan.

  • A curious mindset, eagerness to learn, and desire to help shape the future of Web3 product-led sales.

  • Prior experience working with blockchain foundations, Layer 1/L2 chains, or ecosystem teams is a plus.
