Overview

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative to source qualified opportunities for Avatar Robotics. You’ll identify high-potential warehouse operators, reach the right decision-makers, and generate discovery calls, facility tours, demos, and pilot conversations.

This is a research-driven enterprise sales role. Success is measured by qualified opportunities and sourced pipeline, rather than just outreach volume.

What We Do

Avatar Robotics is building flexible robot fleets to revolutionize industrial work across the country. We're on a mission to make every tedious and dangerous warehouse/factory job virtual, safe, and semi-autonomous.

With proven AI approaches and long distance teleoperation, you'll join a team that deploys a physical work solution that's scalable now, not later. We envision a world where millions of machines will make our goods and consumables more affordable and accessible than ever, while critical workers operate these robot fleets from the comfort of their homes.

At Avatar Robotics, you'll create the workforce of the future—in one of the largest markets ($1T+ manual labor market in the US alone).

We're a small but powerful team at the early innings of deploying thousands of units into facilities worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Research target 3PLs, warehouses, and distribution companies

  • Identify operations, automation, and executive decision-makers

  • Run personalized outreach across email, LinkedIn, phone, and events

  • Book qualified meetings, tours, demos, and pilot discussions

  • Maintain CRM data, follow-ups, and pipeline reporting

  • Test messaging, customer segments, and outbound channels

  • Help build a repeatable sales development playbook

What You Bring

  • 1–4 years in B2B sales, business development, recruiting, or another high-output role

  • Strong research and written communication skills

  • Organized, persistent, and comfortable with executive outreach

  • Ability to learn the complexities of robotics, logistics, and warehouse operations

  • High agency—you find ways to create opportunities without waiting for instructions

Bonus If

  • You’ve sold into logistics, manufacturing, robotics, or industrial automation

  • You’ve used HubSpot, Apollo, Smartlead, Clay, or Sales Navigator

  • You’ve sourced opportunities through trade shows or in-person events

Additional Notes

  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco

  • Occasional travel to customer sites and industry events
