About Every

At Every we're reimagining back-office operations for startups. Our platform simplifies finance, compliance, HR, and more - helping founders stay focused on building, not paperwork. We offer everything a startup needs in one place: Banking, Cards, Bill Payments, Bookkeeping, Tax, HR, Payroll, and Benefits-all with 10x better workflows using AI. We're a Series A startup backed by YC and Redpoint Ventures (Instacart, Stripe, Ramp), growing fast, and building a world-class team.

The Role:

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to be one of the first voices founders hear from us. You'll turn cold outreach and inbound curiosity into real conversations, and set our Account Executives up to close. If you love the hunt, want mentorship from a fast-moving sales team, and are looking for a clear path toward becoming an AE, this is built for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build pipeline through cold outreach, calling, emailing, and social selling, and book qualified meetings for our AEs.

  • Research target accounts and identify the right decision-makers before reaching out.

  • Find new companies and lead sources through tools and social channels.

  • Manage our chat function and respond to inbound interest.

  • Partner with Sales and Success to identify strategic pipeline opportunities and drive demand generation activities.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to keep business development initiatives aligned.

  • Track activity and pipeline accurately in HubSpot, and use AI tools including Nooks to prioritize accounts, draft outreach, and manage pipeline more efficiently.

  • Self-organize and own a full pipeline independently, staying flexible as tools and priorities shift with the business.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on cold calling and cold email experience, ideally 1-2 years as a BDR or SDR.

  • A background in sales or lead development, with real examples of what you've made happen.

  • Tech-savvy and quick to pick up new tools.

  • Hustle and ownership. You're goal-oriented and comfortable managing a full pipeline on your own.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a mission-driven startup solving real problems for founders

  • Work alongside experienced builders in a low-ego, high-ownership environment

  • Competitive comp + meaningful equity

  • Great health benefits, flexible hours, generous PTO

OTE is $75,000-$92,000 OTE with a 50/50 split. Compensation for this role depends on experience and interview performance.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
