What this role is about:
As our first Business Intelligence & AI Analyst, you will act as the Finance team’s analytical engine, you will dive into complex, messy datasets to uncover the insights hidden beneath the surface. You are responsible for connecting data across various business systems—including ERP, CRM, and billing—to build the models and dashboards that our leadership team relies on. By leveraging modern BI tools and AI as a daily force multiplier, you will accelerate analysis and surface trends far faster than traditional manual processes. Ultimately, you act as a bridge between technical data "plumbing" and executive-level strategy, translating raw information into actionable plans for the CFO.

What you’ll do:

  • Build Analytical Infrastructure: Create and maintain dashboards and models in BI tools (like Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma) that stitch together data from NetSuite, CRM, and product databases into unified views of revenue and operational KPIs.
  • Deliver Strategic Insights: Provide FP&A-style analysis, including variance, cohort, and trend identification, to explain what the data means and what the business should do about it.
  • Architect Data Integrity: Develop a deep understanding of system data models and integration points to monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies back to their source.
  • Deploy AI Automations: Design AI-integrated workflows to eliminate manual tasks, such as using AI to read signed contracts, extract key terms, and auto-draft entries in NetSuite.
  • Scale Analytical Capabilities: Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilots) daily to generate hypotheses, run exploratory queries, and summarize findings for leadership.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with RevOps, Accounting, and Customer Success to translate their specific data needs into technical analytical solutions

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Experienced Analyst: 3–6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or FP&A, specifically building reporting that leadership uses for decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL for data transformation, proficiency in at least one BI tool, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities.
  • AI Practitioner: Demonstrated, active daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to solve real business problems, rather than just a general awareness of the technology.
  • Systems Thinker: An understanding of business systems architecture and how data flows between ERPs, CRMs, and billing platforms.
  • Automation Builder: Experience with integration platforms like Workato, Make, or Zapier, or direct experience working with APIs.
  • Clear Communicator: The ability to present complex analytical findings to non-technical leadership and explain system-level data flows to stakeholders.
  • Bonus Background: Familiarity with SaaS growth-stage environments, NetSuite, financial modeling, or basic coding in Python or JavaScript.

What we offer:

  • The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globally
  • Competitive salary and benefits and equity participation
  • A dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented team
