Business Intelligence Product Manager - Chatsworth

Overview:
The BI Product Manager is responsible for prioritizing the BI backlog, overseeing the delivery of enterprise dashboards and analytics, and enabling consistent, high-impact reporting across the organization. This role serves as the Product Owner for Premier America's Data Pod balancing the expansion and adoption of the enterprise data warehouse with the delivery of current reporting needs. The BI Manager leads a team of BI Analysts and partners closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure data solutions support operational decision making, self-service reporting, and actionable business insights.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the implementation of standardized KPIs, metric definitions, and data governance practices in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor the BI Analyst team, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee the design and delivery of clean, reliable, and automated dashboards and reports using modern BI tools.
- Manage the transition from legacy reporting systems to modern, automated, and centralized BI solutions.
- Guide the integration of predictive analytics, early warning indicators, and advanced insights into daily operations to support proactive business decisions.
- Promote data literacy and support end users in embedding dashboard data into operational workflows.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups) and ensure alignment with evolving business needs.
- Act as a senior escalation point for data quality issues, reporting gaps and cross-functional prioritization conflicts.
- Stay current with BI and analytics best practices, industry tools, and innovations that can support organizational advancement.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- 5-7 years of experience in BI, data analytics or reporting, including at least 2 years in a leadership or product owner role.
- Experience in financial services or credit unions is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Agile certification or product owner training is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake and Tableau, with a track record of delivering meaningful, intuitive dashboards.
- Familiarity with credit union operations, especially related to digital banking, deposits, payments and fraud.
- Experience with Jack Henry's Symitar, Lumin, Salesforce, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, KPI standardization, and metadata management.
- Hands-on experience with modern data architecture and tools (e.g., data warehouses, Lakehouse's, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure).
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering in Agile environments.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Passion for building a data-driven culture and creating business value through insights.
Pay Grade Info:
The base pay range for this position is: 100k-120k annually
